we were inspired by one of the eight trigrams from the “i ching”, the book of changes, since the trigrams depict eight types of consciousness, representing the basic symbols of eastern philosophy. they are found everywhere throughout the orient.
according to ancient taoist cosmology, this trigram represents “qian”, meaning “heaven”. the three solid lines represent absolute progressiveness, constant learning and justice. the symbol urges to awareness for living in tune with the spirit of the time, motivated by creativity. we believe this message to be close to how we feel about ourselves and our work.
